Intro-A/C Priciple

Inside the car, as space, seats, handles and machinery get hot from the exterior and interior heat including sunlight, air, roads and engine, the air-conditioner starts to operate.

The car air conditioner/heater is a combination of a heater and a cooler.
The cooler controls cooling, and removing humidity by alternating the process of compressing-condensing-expanding-evaporating the refrigerant of the air-conditioner, and the heater systematically controls heating through the process that heated cooling water circulates into the heater. Thus they make the interior of the car pleasant.

The main components of the air-conditioning system include a fan & shroud that provides wind, an evaporator that evaporates the refrigerant, compressor that compresses it, condenser that condenses it, a receiver drier that removes moisture and foreing matters, a TXV (expansion valve) that expands refrigerant, and pipes & hoses that connect them. In addition, there are safety devices and controllers that control them automatically or manually.
